How to watch the AFL season with the new AFL stats app: the best of 2017

  • June 30, 2021

The AFL has introduced a new statistical feature for the 2017 season.

The new stats app will allow fans to watch every match in full HD and to browse stats across all the games in the competition.

It will also allow users to analyse the statistics for every game using a new analytical tool, called ‘Fantasy’, which allows users to create their own game plans.

The AFL has also announced it will be providing a new podcast format to its streaming platform, which will allow players and coaches to discuss upcoming matches and players and teams in-depth.

Its AFL Season app will be available to download for free on March 24, 2017, and will include the AFL stats, including match statistics, game-day forecasts and AFL Fantasy data.

This is the latest in a series of updates for the AFL app, which has been available to users for almost three years.

Currently, the AFL apps are available to play on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Xbox, Roku, Chromecast, Android devices and iOS devices.

Players will have to upgrade to the new app if they want to access the AFL data, as they are limited to a single app for all the major AFL clubs.
